Arbireo Capital’s investment and asset management expertise meets a market in which real estate and renewable energy solutions must be approached holistically. As these asset classes become increasingly interconnected, Arbireo Capital integrates both under one roof.
The decarbonization of the real estate sector is a central pillar of the energy transition and the transformation of the German economy. Real estate is evolving into an integral component of the energy system. Rising energy costs and tightening regulatory requirements are accelerating this shift; without a clear transformation strategy, properties risk becoming stranded assets.
Arbireo Capital addresses these challenges with a holistic investment strategy rather than isolated solutions. The firm covers a broad spectrum of asset classes. In real estate, this includes grocery-anchored retail, logistics, residential, and hospitality. In renewable energy, the focus spans photovoltaics, EV charging infrastructure, wind energy, ground-mounted and agri-PV systems, battery storage, biomass CHP plants, and biogas.
The emphasis is on sustainable, integrated energy and utility infrastructure that combines stable, long-term cash flows with a measurable contribution to the energy transition.
Drawing on many years of experience in the conception, structuring, and management of institutional investment vehicles, Arbireo Capital – together with its partner companies – develops tailored investment solutions for institutional and semi-professional investors. This covers the entire value chain, from structuring and contractual design to technical planning, implementation, and ongoing operational management.
The integration of sustainable energy generation and distribution infrastructure unlocks additional value creation potential within existing real estate portfolios, while also creating new, independent investment opportunities aligned with the energy transition.

Key Infrastructure Asset Classes
Roof-Mounted Photovoltaic (PV) Systems
Roof-mounted photovoltaic systems on existing buildings represent a core asset class within Arbireo Capital’s infrastructure strategy. Suitable roof areas are systematically utilized for PV installations on both proprietary and third-party properties, contributing to green electricity generation and building decarbonization.
The electricity generated can be consumed on-site by tenants or building operations, stored temporarily in battery systems to optimize self-consumption, or fed into the public grid.
Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure
The expansion of EV charging infrastructure complements photovoltaic systems. Charging stations are deployed across both Arbireo-owned and third-party locations.
Battery storage solutions can further enhance profitability by optimizing load management. This approach future-proofs assets while generating additional revenue streams.
Onsite Wind Energy
Decentralized wind turbines with long-term, regulated feed-in tariffs under the German Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG) provide stable, long-term returns.
In addition, wind installations located near industrial or commercial sites enable local energy generation, reduce reliance on external suppliers, and lower exposure to grid fees and surcharges.
Ground-Mounted and Agri-PV
Ground-mounted and agri-photovoltaic systems enable efficient land use for renewable energy production. Agri-PV, in particular, combines agricultural use with electricity generation, creating sustainable infrastructure investments without competing with primary agricultural activities.
Revenue is generated through long-term EEG tariffs, power purchase agreements (PPAs), and direct marketing mechanisms, offering stable and predictable income streams.
Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
Large-scale battery storage systems are a key enabler of renewable energy integration and represent an attractive standalone investment opportunity.
They stabilize the grid, store energy from renewable sources, and enhance supply flexibility. Independent BESS assets can generate revenue through energy trading, self-consumption optimization, peak shaving, and participation in ancillary services markets.
Biomass Combined Heat and Power (CHP)
Biomass-based CHP plants generate both electricity and heat with high efficiency and can be flexibly integrated into local energy systems, for example to cover peak demand.
They provide stable, long-term cash flows from sustainable energy production. Arbireo Capital’s partners, including GETEC Group and Blue Energy Group GmbH, contribute advanced technologies such as patented CO₂-neutral biomass and waste gasification (pyrolysis), as well as proprietary fuel solutions like “Blue Energy Sticks,” enabling the generation of clean heat and electricity from non-recyclable materials.
Biogas
Biogas plants utilize organic waste and residues to produce energy, supporting circular economy principles. In combination with existing infrastructure, they deliver a reliable, controllable, and continuous supply of heat and electricity, contributing to stable long-term investment returns.
